Adventist World Church President, Pastor Ted Wilson, visits England, 12 March 2011.
General Conference President, Pastor Ted Wilson brought a personal touch to his sermons at Stanborough Park church, Watford and in North London on Sabbath, 12 March. His message, "I believe with all my heart that Jesus is coming soon," was emphasised by his reference to current news events. "Every time you say the name 'Seventh-day Adventist' you preach a mini-sermon" he stated, noting how the name brings an emphasis on Christ, the Advent, the Sabbath, Creation, and thus the hope we have as Adventist Christians. The services at both venues concluded with a time of prayer and rededication. Members of all ages responded positively. The gallery below represents the activities of the day including:
1. The service at Stanborough Park church, Watford.
2. A meeting with North London ministers.
3. The service with North London members at the "House on the Rock" church, Holloway.
A full report of the occasion will appear in BUC News #724 for 18 March 2011 and in a subsequent Messenger.
The morning service can also be viewed on the Stanborough Park church website.
