British Union Conference Extraordinary Session, Stanborough School, 17 May 2009. Delegates from across the UK and Ireland met at Stanborough Secondary School for an Extraordinary Session of the British Union Conference in order to discuss and vote changes to the constitution to improve and streamline future conference sessions. The results of the day mean that delegates and members will stay more informed during the election process, that the nominating committee will be able to fulfil its role within a more reasoned time frame and that the cost of the session be greatly reduced leaving more money for the core purpose of the church. For the full story see BUC News 637 for 22 May 2009. [Photos: Victor Hulbert] |
